Books 2 Eat

Today we went to a competition at our school. The competition was to make a cake that looks like a specific  book. That’s why it was called books to eat. Eagle 07 and eagle 09 made a cake and eagle 10 also made a cake.

The Imaginators Review

Today, We went to a play in our school called “the imaginators”, it was by grade 7 and 8. It was really good. I think the crew did a really good job. I also think that they should get a big thanks. I think the cast did a really good job at whatever they’re job was.

Where we are in place and time

We are starting a new unit and it is about history. Our central idea is “people and places in histories that can be uncovered and interpreted through a variety of sources” We are learning about how people find out about history and things about that. In class we played a artifact game about history and did some work sheets about history and artifacts. Here are some teacher questions you can answer.

1. What do you think is history? 2. How do we know if history is accurate? 3. How do we know about the past? 4. What is truth?

The questions help me because it tells me about our unit of inquiry and about history and artifacts.

Air pollution in HK

For these past few days we had air pollution in Hong Kong and Taiwan . It was really tragic and lots of people got sick. The air pollution had been caused by some sandstorms in China. It was really bad, so we had to stay indoors. Lots of people had headaches, running noses and itchy eyes. We have to stop this pollution.

Our P.S.A on You tube

In our unit we had to do a P.S.A. and it was fun, but now we have to put it on You tube!. We created a account on You tube for our whole grade to put on. So here it is.

Iqbal -book

Iqbal is a really good book. It is also related to our unit. Iqbal is about this boy who works in a carpet factory with lots of children and before the children have no hope of escaping but because of Iqbal they had a chance of escaping.

My New Year holiday

On my new year holiday I went to China (Hua Du) for four days and saw my grandparents and it was fun. Then I came home and had to do a lot of homework! Then on the last day I went to Ocean Park and had so much fun.Then I had to go back to school.
